Hi, I'm Ray
I'm a designer from Aberdeen, Scotland. I work full time for a very successful UK online retailer. In my spare time I like to design, produce and manage websites for individuals or businesses looking for amazing results without spending oodles of cash.
After finishing a BSc in Neuroscience from
Aberdeen University, I decided to get out
of the lab and work with people, so I
managed in the licensed trade for
almost a decade.
Aswell as producing mountains
of print media for venues I
worked at, I always kept a keen
interest in web design. I'd do
designs for friends and family,
spicing up facebook, bebo
and twitter pages.
In 2007 I was recognised
for my unique talents
and grabbed my
chance to dive straight in. Great! I was working
full time for an internet retailer, and it wasn't
long until I realised that I was a real geek.
I love designing and coding.
That's not all I'm passionate about in life.
I've played guitar for years and love my
Les Paul
and Takamine. I still Skate
(board) when I get the urge too.
Last year I married my beautiful wife
Sarah in Florence, Italy. No kids yet,
they'll be on the way soon.
Really, I'm just a normal guy who's down
to earth. I like to use my head to get the
job done, but I'm not scared of putting
in the work to get the results.
